The rest of the time-lapse had to break free of the rotational format but still gives a creative take on the surroundings.

The island of La Palma was the destination of choice for director Mike Moloney and photographer John Hooper, who shot this 24-hour time-lapse near the IAC observatory, nearly 2400 metres above sea level.
